Punto Pio LLC launched its website in May 2024, but our journey began in April 2023 when we started building our chicken operation. Inspired by three main factors, Punto Pio was born out of passion, market needs, and a sustainable vision for the future. Yari's love for animals and her natural connection with the hens made it the obvious path for her. For Armando, the drive to make things happen was key — whether it was tending to chickens, fabricating face masks, or selling NFTs, if there was a market, he was in.
Over time, the chickens grew on him. Yari saw them not just as part of the operation, but as potential therapy animals in the future. We identified a gap in the market: many people want quality produce straight from the farm, but no company effectively markets and builds a brand around delivery, product quality, and freshness. We also aim to inspire the next generation of farmers by combining agriculture, technology, social media marketing, and community outreach to build a sustainable future for Puerto Rico.

We currently specialize in providing the freshest eggs, though we are actively onboarding other local producers to our platform. Our chickens are probably happier than their keepers! To us, chickens are not just disposable cash generators — they are our family and the heart of Punto Pio. They brighten our days and are integral to our daily operations.
Our primary customers are professionals in the Puerto Rico metropolitan area and retirees who value quality produce. Our main markets include San Juan, Guaynabo, Dorado, Bayamón, Carolina, Toa Alta, Toa Baja, and Cataño. We go above and beyond to accommodate delivery schedules, provide live location updates, and notify customers upon delivery. If we face delays or mistakes, we make it right with extra eggs.

Dropped out of a Bachelors in Business Administration with a focus on Economics from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico when he realized that the ways of doing business evolve too fast for most business and economics professors to stay relevant.
Chicken-Whisperer
Flock wellbeing and each hen individually: digging trenches, building housing, feeding, providing clean water, checking on broody hens, rehabilitating injured hens, among other daily tasks.
Yari holds a Bachelors in Humanities with a focus on Multidisciplinary Arts from the University of Puerto Rico. Armando and Yari also collaborate on deliveries, construction, and general chicken needs. Armando's background spans Mechanical Engineering, Psychology, and Economics.

We are planning to move our farm from Aibonito to Caimito, expand our operation to 3,500 chickens, save to purchase 10 acres of land to realize our vision of a farm/wellness center/coworking space/community hub. In the short term, we aim to onboard more quality producers to our platform. In the long term, you'll see Punto Pio worldwide.
